Course Description: 

The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) Certification Course is designed for healthcare professionals in Pakistan with the goal of increasing education and awareness about HIV disease, diagnosis, treatment and prevention in Pakistan. The HIV Certification course features live discussions with experts in the field from Pakistan and North America while encouraging participants to actively take part in these discussions. 

Course Objectives:  

  1. To create a comprehensive  guide for clinicians and health care providers with need-to-know information pertaining to the HIV epidemic in Pakistan.  

  2. To provide a self-paced learning opportunity with content available at any time along with live discussions, inviting engagement and participation. Ultimately the goal is to create a bridge between resource-rich and resource- limited settings to facilitate an exchange of knowledge, research and creative solutions to overcome barriers to care for people living with HIV.


Target Audience:  HIV Care Providers in Pakistan 

Mode of Delivery: Virtual format via Zoom with one hour of educational content and one hour of interactive discussion 

Course Duration: 5 months.

Live Session Time: 

8 PM - 10 PM Pakistan Standard Time

10 AM - 12 PM USA Eastern Standard Time

  • HIV Diagnosis, Treatment and Retention in Care
