Duration: 17 teaching modules with 3 introductory and assessment modules. 

Background: 

Ultrasound is an extremely valuable diagnostic tool to diagnose, manage, monitor and treat your patients in a safe accurate, rapid and non-invasive manner. We hope this guide will encourage more physicians to implement ultrasound in their everyday clinical practice. This course will cover various body regions comprehensively including liver, gallbladder, kidneys, cardiac, lung, major vessels, soft tissue and first trimester.

Objectives: 

At the end of this Course the Participants will be able to:

1. Discuss proper scanning techniques and system optimization for a Point of Care Ultrasound. 
2. Interpret basic ultrasound examinations of various regions.
3. identify normal and common abnormal imaging characteristics for the evaluation of various regions 

Assessment:

Assessment in each module is assessed by online MCQs and picture quizzes.

General Physicians including Family Practitioners and Internists, Medical Specialists such as Gastroenterologists, Rheumatologists etc. and PostGraduate Trainees.
